Palmilla has been on Melasti Beach in Ungasan since 2019, set on the sand below the tall limestone cliffs of the Bukit peninsula. The look borrows from Tulum, with thatch, pale wood, white umbrellas and low sunbeds around a pool with its own bar, a few steps from the sea. The kitchen runs from breakfast through lunch to dinner.
Entry is modest by Bali standards: a 2026 review put it at IDR 100,000 by card or IDR 125,000 in cash, redeemable for a towel or a drink, while another quotes IDR 150,000 including a IDR 100,000 food and drink voucher. Day-bed prices are not published, so ask on WhatsApp before you go. Melasti Beach also charges its own small community entry fee at the road.
The mood is laid-back rather than clubby, and the venue describes itself as family friendly. It suits a slower day by the water on a south Bali loop, often combined with Uluwatu or GWK. Hours run 10am to 8pm Monday to Thursday and to 9pm Friday to Sunday; the cliffs shade the beach late in the day, so come early for sun.
Bed prices and opening times move with the seasons, so confirm with the club before you set off.
Want the front row? Beds by the water go first at weekends and in high season.
