Tropical Temptation sits at the foot of the cliffs on Melasti Beach in Ungasan, on Bali's Bukit Peninsula, with steps leading straight down to the sand. Formerly Cattamaran, the adults-only club has a long infinity pool on the west side lined with lagoon day beds, a glass-edged east pool with a jacuzzi, and sand day beds and cabanas below.
Entry is free. Day beds, sofas and hammocks carry a minimum spend, which the club says usually runs from IDR 500,000 to IDR 1,000,000 depending on the spot, day and season; lagoon beds and VIP cabanas for up to eight cost more. Beds are booked through the club's online booking page or on WhatsApp.
DJs play deep house through the afternoon and sunset, with weekly themed sessions and breakfast served from 7am. It suits couples and friends who want a polished beach day without children. The road down to Melasti gets busy before sunset, so arrive early in the afternoon.
Bed prices and opening times move with the seasons, so confirm with the club before you set off.
