Aqua Boracay is a contemporary resort on Bulabog Beach, the island's kiteboarding and windsurfing side, a short walk across from White Beach and D'Mall. It was the first Boracay resort to run a day club, opening its pool, cabanas, restaurant and bar to day visitors, and has hosted DJ-led pool parties.
The current day pass runs on Saturdays only, from 11am to 9pm, at PHP 1,000 per person. It covers pool and beach access, towels, cabana use and a guaranteed set meal. Food comes from the resort's own kitchens, with dishes such as lobster nachos, coconut tempura prawns and paella featured on past menus.
Expect kites and windsurfers offshore rather than the swimming crowds of White Beach. Reservations are required. It suits groups of friends and couples looking for a pool day with a bit of a scene.
Bed prices and opening times move with the seasons, so confirm with the club before you set off.
