BE Resort Mactan sits on Punta Engaño Road at the quiet northern tip of Mactan Island, about 15 minutes from the airport. Its infinity pool runs out towards the sea above a white-sand beach, with loungers on the deck, and The Deck bar is set up for sunset drinks as the day winds down.
Non-guests come in on a day pass from 8am to 5pm. It costs PHP 1,250 per adult on weekdays and PHP 1,395 at weekends, of which PHP 800 or PHP 900 comes back as dining credit. Children aged 5 to 12 pay PHP 625 or PHP 700. The pass covers the pool and beach, towels, lockers, showers, the gym, the game room and an hour of beach pickleball.
The mood is relaxed rather than clubby, and it suits families and couples who want a good-value pool day close to the airport. With most of the fee returned as credit, it is one of the cheaper days by the water on Mactan. Call ahead at weekends to check that passes are available.
