Stella Seaside Lounge

Stella Seaside Lounge sits on Changi Coast Walk at the far eastern end of Singapore, well away from the Sentosa crowds. The deck runs right along the water, with daybeds for up to eight people around the pool and on the infinity deck, sofa lounges, seaside tables and a sheltered alfresco area, plus an air-conditioned indoor room. Ships at anchor and planes coming in to Changi make up the view.

The menu is Western with a seafood lean: grilled platters, clams, seafood pasta and steaks, with cocktails, wine and a chilled soundtrack. Several areas are pet friendly, so it is one of the few beach-club-style spots in Singapore where you can bring the dog, as long as you book a pet-friendly zone.

Tables, daybeds and sofas can be booked online up to two weeks ahead. A credit-card hold applies to daybed, sofa and seaside bookings at weekends and on public holidays, when daybeds also carry a minimum spend. It opens in the afternoon on weekdays and from noon at weekends, and is closed on Mondays. There is a car park beside the venue, or take the shuttle bus from Tanah Merah MRT to the nearby NSRCC clubhouse.
