Horizon Pool sits on the 18th floor of Sindhorn Midtown Hotel Bangkok, a Vignette Collection by IHG hotel on Langsuan Road in Lumpini, a short walk from Chidlom and Lumphini Park. The infinity edge looks straight out over the city's towers, with cushioned loungers, striped parasols and the Horizon Pool Bar alongside.

Day passes are sold through the hotel's SevenRooms page. The best seller is THB 1,099 net per adult with THB 700 of dining credit; a bundle with a tumbler and a drink is THB 1,699, and a four-hour pass with THB 500 credit is THB 800 (10am–2pm or noon–4pm). Children aged 5 to 12 pay THB 499. Passes include the gym, sauna, lockers and showers.

There are no DJs; it is a calm city escape, good for a weekday break or a lazy weekend with the family. Food is served from 11am, and dining credit must be used on the day of your pass.

Bed prices and opening times move with the seasons, so confirm with the club before you set off.
