Kimpton Maa-Lai Bangkok stands on leafy Soi Tonson, off Langsuan Road in Lumpini and a short walk from Chidlom. Its outdoor infinity pool sits on the third floor in the hotel's garden, with potted greenery, sun loungers and an edge that looks out over the treetops towards the city's towers, with Pool.Bar alongside.
Day passes cost THB 1,200 net per adult, with a choice of THB 700 of drinks credit or a set lunch of a sandwich or burger with a draught beer; children pay THB 500 with a slushy. The pass covers the pool, sauna, steam room and lockers but not the gym. It is sold through Megatix and must be reserved before you arrive.
There are no DJs; this is a quiet weekday escape for remote workers, couples and families. Passes run Monday to Thursday only, from 10am to 8pm, and credit must be spent at Pool.Bar on the day.
Bed prices and opening times move with the seasons, so confirm with the club before you set off.
