Rooftop Pool at The StandardX Bangkok

The StandardX, Bangkok Phra Arthit opened in 2025 on the river edge of Bangkok's Old Town, a short walk from Khao San Road and the Phra Arthit pier. Its rooftop has a compact tiled pool lined with sun loungers and black parasols, looking straight across the Chao Phraya and its passing express boats.

Non-guests can buy a rooftop pool day pass for THB 1,000 per adult, which includes a pool towel, a THB 500 net dining credit at the rooftop restaurant, used the same day, and 10% off the à la carte menu. Children aged 6 to 11 pay THB 500, and under-sixes go free (one per paying adult). Passes are sold online and the pool is open daily from 7am to 7pm.

There is no DJ programme: this is a quiet, compact deck for a few hours of swimming and river-watching rather than a party. Space is limited, so come early on weekends, and stay for the late-afternoon light over the river before the pool closes. Food and drink carry 10% service and 7% VAT.
