Bluerama is a hotel set on a hill about 200 metres above Nai Wok, 2km from Thong Sala pier, with an infinity pool and a wide view over the Gulf of Thailand and its islands. It is not on the beach; the draw is the pool deck and the sunset from above.
Every Saturday from 3pm to 10pm the hotel opens its pool for the Bluerama Sunset Pool Party, with DJs playing deep house and melodic techno as the sun goes down. Entry is THB 300 before 5pm and THB 500 after, and VIP tables cost THB 5,000. A free shuttle runs up the steep road during party hours, which is a good idea on a scooter-heavy island. The restaurant menu is entirely plant-based, with Thai and fusion dishes.
It suits groups of friends and a sociable, music-led crowd. Arrive early for the cheaper entry and the best spots along the pool edge.
Bed prices and opening times move with the seasons, so confirm with the club before you set off.
