Tembo Beach Club and Resort is a boutique property on Bangrak Beach, on Samui's north coast, with uninterrupted views over the Gulf of Thailand. The club area is set around an infinity pool with sea views, with beach beds and day beds, a poolside bar and a restaurant that serves Thai and European dishes, sharing boards and seafood.
The soundtrack is Balearic and chilled rather than clubby, with DJs playing poolside at times, and the bar is known for rosé, cocktails and gin and tonics. Tembo, Swahili for elephant, supports elephant welfare in Southeast Asia, and the club hosts charity and celebration events, including the Think Pink Gala dinner in 2026.
The beach club is popular with locals and expats, though resort guests get priority on sunbeds, so arrive early or call ahead. It suits couples and small groups who want a relaxed afternoon by the pool with good food.
