Café del Mar Phuket sits on the beach at Kamala Bay and brings the Ibiza chill-out brand to Phuket's west coast. The daylife area runs from 11am to 7pm, with sunbeds and cabanas around the palm-lined Oasis Pool, sofas on the sand and an elevated Horizon Lounge with open sea views.
The beachfront restaurant serves international dishes from midday until 10.30pm, and sunset is the main event, with cocktails and Champagne as the sun drops behind the bay. The venue is open daily from 11am until late.
After dark the Club Room opens from Wednesday to Saturday at 10pm, with resident and international DJs; many event nights are free entry, with VIP tables bookable online. Expect a stylish, dressed-up crowd and premium prices. Book sunbeds and tables in advance in high season. There are also suites and a penthouse on site.
