Dreamville opened on the reclaimed white-sand coast of Pantai Indah Kapuk 2 as Jakarta's first full beach club. A long infinity pool faces the sea, with large daybeds and loungers along the edge, a lawn, a separate shallow children's pool and a covered restaurant and bar.
You do not need to spend a minimum just to swim, and towels can be hired; some premium seating areas do carry a minimum spend, and groups should reserve ahead. The halal-certified menu covers Indonesian, Western and Japanese dishes, with coffee, fresh juices, mocktails and cocktails. Live music and DJs take over in the evenings, when the mood turns from family day out to party.
Go on a weekday or late afternoon to avoid the heat and crowds; shade by the pool is limited. It is on Jalan Yos Sudarso in PIK 2, in the far north-west of the city, so allow plenty of time for traffic by car or taxi.
Bed prices and opening times move with the seasons, so confirm with the club before you set off.
