Malibu Beach Club

Malibu Beach Club is on the sunset side of Gili Trawangan, away from the busier harbour strip. A swimming pool overlooks the beach, and as the afternoon cools, rows of beanbags fill the sand facing the sun as it drops towards Bali.

Sunbeds are generally free with food and drink orders, and there is a happy hour on cocktails. DJs play sunset sets, live music features regularly and there are occasional bonfires on the beach, with seasonal events through the year. Malibu also has Gili T's first beachfront padel court, bookable separately.

The crowd is a sociable mix of couples and groups, livelier than the island's resort pools without tipping into a full party. Book a table through the website or WhatsApp for sunset in peak season. Gili Trawangan has no cars, so cycle or take a cidomo (horse cart) from the harbour.
