Lombok

Lombok’s beach clubs are smaller and more relaxed than Bali’s. Senggigi and the coast north of it look west to Bali’s volcano at sunset, Mandalika in the south has the newest builds, and the three Gili Islands mix beanbag beach clubs with pools a few steps from the reef.

The Gilis have no cars, so plan on walking, cycling or a horse cart. Fast boats run from Bali and from Lombok’s Bangsal harbour.
